Thank you for participating in Rising Sun's No-Cost Appliance Upgrade Program. We are looking forward to working with you to help you with energy and water efficiency upgrades in your home. 

This program is available to certain residents of Stockton who live in the project area specified by the Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) Program. The outline of this area can be seen here or in the map shown below. The following application will help determine if you are eligible to receive a full no-cost replacement of the following energy and water efficient appliances:   
  • Refrigerator
  • Toilet
  • Clothes washer
  • Dishwasher
  • Ceiling Fan
  • Water Heater Blanket
  • Smart Thermostat
  • Thermostatic Shower Valve (TSV)
  • Electric Dryer
  • Electric Heat Pump Water Heater 
  • Electric Stovetop/Oven/Range
  • Electric Commutated Blower Motor (ECM)
This application may require you to move around your house to collect information about your appliances. What to know when filling out the application:

The remainder of the form will be asking you about appliance-specific information. You will be presented with all 14 appliance options that Rising Sun is offering through the No-Cost Appliance Upgrade Program. Although many questions are not required, we strongly encourage you to fill out as much as possible so that we can determine your eligibility faster. Please apply for all appliances that you would like to be considered for.


Disclosures:

  • Rising Sun's No-Cost Appliance Upgrade Program can only replace ONE appliance type per address (i.e. you may receive 1 toilet, 1 refrigerator, etc.).
  • Appliances are only available while supplies last, and for those households that are eligible to receive them.

Thermostatic Shower Valve





Pump that circulates hot water from the water heater through the pipes and back to the water heater rather than allowing the water to cool off in the pipes.

Heat Pump Water Heater

Please note that the installation of a heat pump water heater will require us to switch your water heater fuel type from gas to electric. All fuel-switching costs would be covered by Rising Sun.

A Forced Air Unit is any system that delivers heated or cooled air through vents and ducts. This does not include wall-mounted heating units (such as propane-fueled heaters) or window-mounted air conditioning units. Essentially, we are asking if you have central A/C and heating.
